Wonderful Wednesday - We've bought a Car, the Fridge is full of chilled SB & Sol, and the Sun is Shining! What could be better? The Guys in Green certainly agree!!
Cerro Santa Lucia - Once a rocky hill in the city centre now what's described locally as a lovingly manicured garden. A break from the chaos of the city, we strolled around the garden and enjoyed the panoramic views over the rooftops. We think the garden will benefit from some Spring sunshine. It was no Kew Gardens.
Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes - a neoclassical building packed with Chiliean art - a favourite piece of art was a naked bathing scene of beautifully toned bodies painted on to an ornate gold background.
Cathedral Metropolitana - another beautiful piece of neoclassical architecture overlooking the Plaza de Armas.
We're enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of Chile but keen to ship out and hit the road.
