Left Los Molles headed for Vallenar - a mere 520 km al Nord. Stopped off at Playa Chigualoco just off Ruta 5 for a Paddle in the Pacific. Bracing!!
Reached Vallinar late in the day and checked in at Hotel Esmerelda before a fast promenade downtown, a quick Completo - and several Pisco Sours at the liveliest bar on the main drag - with more Farmacias than you can shake a stick at!!
PS - Amanda says it's still too cold for tenting!!
