Highway 1 - Panama's main Autopista - 486km from Paraiso to Paso Canoas - what better place to take a break than Mykonos! An island of luxury and air-con tranquility on the outskirts of Santiago. We looked for a Campsite - honest! Nothing doing. Plenty of Beach Resort All Inclusives at $250 a night! But no Camping!!
Booking.com surprised us with Hotel Mykonos at a deep discount AND a deep Pool with swim up Bar! Plus a trad Greek Restaurant - think Souvlaki, Taramasalata, Stuffed Eggplant & proper Greek Salad!! How could we swerve that one?
Enjoyed it so much we stayed for two nights.
Amanda loved the sweet Toad Houses around the Swimming Pool - until she discovered next morning they were for LatAm Rap Poolside Ents (all weather loudspeakers)!!
Bye bye Santiago! Roll on David!!
