Left San Rafael and the mega (BIG) Bianchi Winery, headed for Tupungato and the calm of Valle de Uco - home to lots of small but perfectly formed high altitude vineyards! Phoned en route and booked in for a Vineyard Tour & Tasting at Domaine Bousquet.
Sudden sandstorm overwhelmed us - we couldn't even see the end of our bonnet - trusty Pablo took self-drive command! In a flash we were outside a tiny Bodega with a huge steel front door. David heaved open the door and we were blown inside like something from Alice in Wonderland. Before we could blink we were seated at a rustic table spellbound by Ezekiel who prophesied we would enjoy a wonderful five course meal accompanied by unlimited wine of seven varieties. We smiled and nodded and 'mostly lunch' began!
